Student Life
Student Guidebook here.
Going to class, studying, and hanging out - it all adds up to
yourstudent life. School days at West Nottingham are pretty busy and most students quickly learn how important it is to keep track of their schedules. Between classes and in the evenings students find time to catch up with friends, get a head start on coursework or just relax. Whatever your interest, you'll find your fit here.
Weekend Activities
Because we are between Baltimore and Philadelphia, there's plenty to do. Catch a film, visit an art gallery, go shopping or hang out with friends - every weekend offers time to relax and have some fun. West Nottingham also offers a Culture Credit program. Each student is asked to attend two culturally enriching events per trimester to experience music, history, art and theater - something new. Past activities include our Music at Nottingham concert series, trips to the Smithsonian and other DC attractions, performances by the Philadelphia Orchestra, excursions to the Franklin Institute and more. Typical weekend activities include trips to museums, malls, movies, sporting events, theaters, and on-campus activities such as movies in Helena Hall, dances in Old Slaybaugh schoolhouse, bands in Durigg Plaza and Spartans & Athenians competitions. Have a new idea for a trip or special event? Let us know and we'll work to make it happen!
Of course the best way to learn more about West Nottingham is to visit our campus. In the meantime, we invite you to wander around our web site, explore the photos in our media gallery and wander through our student and faculty profiles pages to learn more about who we are and what makes this such a close-knit and fun community.
