The faculty of WNA inspire curiosity while helping students develop critical thinking skills. Rather than serving as a mere funnel for information, our student-centered approach teaches each student to develop his or her own passion for learning as they prepare for college and life.
WNA's innovative master schedule strengthens this approach by providing more structured time between faculty and students and expanded blocks of classroom time for truly deeper learning. Examples include a lab science sequence with more hands-on learning, and an English curriculum providing enhanced academic support during critical freshman and sophomore years. Our faculty is made up of more than two dozen dedicated and talented teachers, all of whom have a true passion for teaching, love the tough questions and know that at WNA, teaching is always happening - in a classroom, on the playing field, during dinner, on a trip - always.
