West Nottingham Academy is a different experience for each of you. It is people, such as the incomparable Herb Foutz or Jim Spiro; it is a place, such as the bridge or Rush; it is an event, such as a class trip, or just a pat on the back. It is all of these and more.
West Nottingham Academy today continues to be as diverse in its students as it is in it alumni. It offers a wide variety of programs and activities, and it stands proudly on the record of success of its graduates. Above all, it remains a source of support by caring individuals who are interested not only in your success but in you personally. Your alma mater is proud of you. You have reason to be proud of your alma mater, and I invite you to return often. To be sure, some things have changed: the physical plant continues to expand and the trees are a little larger. Yet the values of intellectual development, of human kindness and support, of family caring and individual nurturing have remained constant. Our history is based on a rich foundation, and neither our growth nor the passage of time will ever change our inherent qualities. Thank you for your “virtual” visit. I look forward to seeing you on campus and to visiting with you whenever you are in the area.
