Programs & Activities

This weekend's activities

Every day at West Nottingham students participate in a variety of activities - examining concepts in the classroom, competing in athletics, expanding their world views through community service, and nurturing life-long connections with friends, faculty, and staff.

A sense of community is at the core of life at WNA. If your son or daughter feels a sense of belonging and safety, he/she will thrive and learn to begin making a positive contribution to the world. All programs and events reinforce that feeling. Live bands, movies in Helena Hall, talent shows, Xbox and table tennis tournaments or are just some of the activities you'll find here.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES

Students have many ways to get involved and explore different interests at WNA, including:

  • Student Government
  • Photography
  • Nottingham Players - Drama Club
  • Yearbook
  • Music Club
  • Chess Club
  • Choir
  • D & D Gaming Club
  • Student Newspaper - The Arrow
  • Dorm Activities
This is just a sampling of what you can do here.  Don't see your club? Time to start one. We'll help make it happen!

WEEKEND ACTIVITIES
Because we are between Baltimore and Philadelphia, there's lots to do. Catch a film, visit an art gallery, go shopping or hang out with friends - every weekend offers time to relax and have some fun.

West Nottingham also offers a Culture Credit program. Each student attends two culturally enriching events per trimester, experiencing music, history, art and theater - something new. Past activities include our Music at Nottingham concert series, a trip to the Smithsonian, and jazz at the Kennedy Center.
