Learn more about our Admission Team!
A native of Long Island, New York, Nancy and her husband Dan joined the boarding school world in 1979. Christchurch School, in Virginia, quickly became home and career for the Nolan Team. Dan succumbed to Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) in 1992 and Nancy continued her professional life as teacher and administrator, focusing on all three vital areas to school advancement: admission, marketing and fundraising. After 32 years in Virignia, Nancy moved to Baltimore and spent one year as Associate Head of School at St. Paul's School for Girls. Passionate about the world of admission and marketing at small boarding schools, Nancy is thrilled to be a member of the leadership team at West Nottingham Academy. Nancy proudly serves on two national boards: The Admission Leadership Council for the SSATB and Small Boarding School Association.
Nancy's daughters, Anne and Katie, are graduates of a boarding/day school. Nancy's passions include lacrosse and anything related to New York City and Hawaii, where she has spent a good deal of time. An avid and experienced traveler, Nancy's favorite activities include boogie boarding and rooting for the Ravens and O's!
