Life at West Nottingham Academy

Going to class, studying, hanging out - it all adds up to your student life. School days at West Nottingham are pretty busy and most students quickly learn how important it is to keep track of their schedules. Between classes and in the evenings students find time to catch up with friends, get a head start on coursework or just relax. Afternoons are filled with athletic activities, or practicing for a theater production.  In the evenings, you'll have time to complete your homework and study for your assessments.  Each and every day you'll have time to enjoy your room, your dorm, and our beautiful campus.

And, on the weekends, you can watch a film, sleep late, visit an art gallery in Baltimore or Philly, go shopping or just hang out with friends - every weekend offers time to relax and have fun. In addition, West Nottingham's Culture Credit program gives students a great chance to attend at least two cultural weekend events per trimester to experience music, history, art and theater.  Every weekend service learning opportunities are also included in the offerings.

A typical weekend could include trips to museums, malls, movies, sporting events, theaters, and on-campus activities such as movies in Helena Hall and dances in Old Slaybaugh. Have a new idea for a trip or special event? Let us know and we'll work to make it happen!
